QUANTUM COUNSELING VS MAINSTREAM THERAPY

You may be asking yourself, what is the difference between mainstream therapy and quantum counseling? It is a very valid question.

Mainstream therapy, also known as psychotherapy, focuses primarily on the identification, diagnosis and treatment of mental and nervous disorders.  The goals of psychotherapy include alleviating symptoms, understanding the underlying diagnosis which create symptoms, changing dysfunctional behaviors which are the results of these disorders, and developing new strategies for successful coping with the psychological challenges, which we all face.

Quantum Counseling is different because together we dive into your psyche, root out the deeply subconscious internal programming that influences your perspective of your experiences and reconcile faulty or dysfunctional family-of-origin patterning that is at the core of many of the "mainstream" diagnoses and inherited dis-ease. Quantum counseling takes "therapy" to a higher consciousness level that provides more than just symptom relief, but provides you the tools to heal, shift and transform your life struggles.

**Quantum Counseling is not mainstream psychotherapy.**

Though I am trained to diagnose mental and emotional illness, in my role as your quantum counselor, I will not diagnose or treat any mental health conditions that you may have. While there may be information that you disclose that aids in the mapping of patterns in your lived experience with your family of origin, these disclosures are for informational purposes only. If these disclosures cause you any impairment in your mental, emotional or daily functioning, it is your responsibility to tell me so I can refer you to the appropriate professional therapeutic help so that you may continue to transform your life.
